Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Health Technician, where you will provide direct and supportive care to clients and patients in a compassionate environment. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in our care. We are looking for individuals who are observant, empathetic, and skilled in communication to help facilitate group activities and monitor client health. Your contributions will make a significant impact on the recovery journey of our clients. In this part-time overnight position, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and responding to crises as needed. You will work closely with a treatment team to create a supportive and therapeutic environment for our clients. Key responsibilities include admitting, supervising, monitoring, transferring, and discharging clients/patients; monitoring vital signs and escalating to medical intervention when necessary; overseeing medication administration and maintaining accurate records; facilitating client supervision checks; participating as an active member of the treatment team; documenting and reporting client behavior; and preparing and facilitating group rehabilitative support, education, recovery skills, or recreation groups. Qualifications include a high school education or equivalent with two years of responsible employment, preferred experience in human services or related field, successful background check, current driver's license and auto insurance, First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment, and being at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle. Physical requirements involve exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and sedentary work with some walking or standing.
