As a Behavioral Health Technician I, you will oversee daily activities, monitor health indicators, respond to crises, and facilitate group education and structured activities. Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for clients and patients. Key Responsibilities include providing direct oversight and support to clients/patients, monitoring vital signs and health indicators, facilitating group education and structured activities, documenting and reporting behaviors, assisting with personal care needs, maintaining medication records, participating in treatment teams, ensuring policy compliance, providing transportation, and attending meetings and training. Education and experience requirements include a high school education or equivalent with two years of responsible employment, preferred experience in Human Services, and specific credentials for certain programs. Additional qualifications include background checks, valid driver's license, First Aid and CPR certification, and mandatory training completion. Physical requirements involve sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds and repetitive hand movements.
