Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with financial standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in accounting systems and billing processes within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and process invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Manage accounts receivable, including tracking payments and reconciling discrepancies. - Utilize accounting software systems such as Aderant, Costpoint, or other financial tools to support billing operations. - Collaborate with finance and operational teams to resolve billing issues and address client inquiries. - Conduct audits of billing records to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies. - Maintain and update financial data in systems like CRM and other relevant software. - Generate detailed reports on billing activities and present findings to stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company procedures in all billing functions. - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes as needed. - Provide recommendations to improve billing workflows and enhance overall efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or related financial roles. - Proficiency with accounting software systems such as Aderant, Costpoint, or ADP Financial Services. - Strong understanding of billing functions, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles. - Experience working with CRM systems and other financial tools. - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to audit and reconcile financial data. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address billing discrepancies effectively. - Solid communication skills to interact with internal teams and external clients. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
