Job Description

•Prepares tax returns for clients including Sales tax returns (state & city/parish) and Payroll tax returns, quarterly and
annually (federal & state).
•Prepares and distributes W-2's and 1099's for clients.
•Reconciles client bank accounts.
•Reconciles client balance sheet accounts to supporting documentation.
•Responds to client questions regarding general bookkeeping issues, payroll withholdings, tax deposits and coding
disbursements (chart of accounts).
•Upon client request, serves in the capacity of the client's bookkeeper (onsite) when an absence occurs.
•Prepares various other tax reports such as property taxes, occupational licenses and, workers' compensation reports.
•Proactively communicates any issues/concerns relating to work product.
•Develops proficiency for Firm software applications and procedures.
•Complies with the professional and Firm requirements (e.g., employee handbook requirements, time entry
procedures, audit quality control document requirements, etc.) including complying with confidentiality.
