Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly.
• Manage payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and issuing payments.
• Prepare budgets and assist in financial forecasting to support business planning.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Plooto) is essential.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices, including account reconciliation and payroll management - including AP/AR, Bank Rec - check deposit machine on site.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports effectively.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
