• We are hiring immediately for a CAFE MANAGER position.
• Location : Tesla OCS Factory, 45500 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full Time; Saturday to Wednesday 12pm to 10pm based on business needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Details : The Cafe Manager will be responsible for scheduling, ordering, and managing 15 to 30 employees. The Manager is also accountable for auditing cafes, supporting hourly staff members, people management, budgeting, organizing staff, assisting in inventory, and handling last-minute client requests.
• Requirement : 2+ years of management experience, food service experience, and knowledge of food safety standards. A food handler's certificate and experience in a warehouse setting are preferred. The ideal candidate is willing to grow with the company.
• Salary: $70,000
• Perks : $50.00 safety shoe credit, free parking, training provided.

Job Summary

This individual will be responsible for the supervision of the food service operation, ensuring the standards of excellence are met. They will supervise associates and support financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
• Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe
• Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
• Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
• Manages cafe operations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
• Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
• ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred
