Job Description

Lehighton Ford is searching for a Full-Time Lot Attendant/Driver to operate motor vehicles on and off the premises for transport, pickup, and delivery in support of all our dealership activities. 

Essential Duties:

• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, as well as pick up and deliver vehicles while observing driving rules and rules of the road and demonstrating courteous and defensive driving principles.
• Pick up or drop off service customers. 
• Perform a walk-around of each vehicle prior to moving the vehicle and note any damage found to the manager.
• Verify that the vehicle being picked up and or delivered is the same as the transportation request.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Manager.
• Move vehicles as necessary and locate vehicles miss-parked.
• If necessary, inflate tires and jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank.
• Fill gas tanks when dealership vehicle fuel tanks are low.
• Deliver or pick up parts from various wholesale locations.

Lot Attendant Requirements :

• Valid PA driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient with driving manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Completion of drug and background screening.
• Ability to follow basic written instructions.
• Outstanding organizational skills.

This Job Is:

• Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED.
• A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.
• Looking for Full time or part-time hours.
