POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator is an essential member of the Business Development team that executes MDRT’s corporate sponsorship agreements with the world’s leading insurance companies. Reporting to the Corporate Sonship Manager, the Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator uses their knowledge of corporate business environments, analytical skills, and attention to client service to support the fulfillment of sponsorship offerings and contributes to the overall success of the sponsorship objectives. By collaborating and engaging with internal teams and external partners, the Sponsorship Coordinator plays a vital role to help maximize MDRT’s ability to deliver value to and develop lasting business relationships with sponsors.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides timely execution of tasks related to the delivery of the corporate sponsorship benefits.
  • Provides logistics planning and support for sponsor events including managing speakers, delivering collateral, and ensuring alignment of messaging and content.
  • Develops and maintains sponsorship fulfillment reports that confirms deliverables and relevant tracking KPI’s.
  • Uses CRM databases and Excel reporting to enter, extract, analyze and communicate data to sponsors.
  • Liaises with teams across various departments to deliver sponsorship commitments.
  • Supports the regular communication with sponsors; responsible for assisting in scheduling meetings, creating assisting with meeting agenda, recording meeting minutes , and following up on action items.
  • Continually seeks to understand and build knowledge of industry.
  • Travels both domestically and internationally (up to 10%); periodically participates in evening conference calls.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s and/or experience in a client service or account management position.
  • Comfort, familiarity, and appreciation for working with diverse global audiences.
  • Familiarity with corporate operations, communication practices and organizational structures experience a plus.
  • Uses analytical skills in evaluating information and resourcefulness in generating deliverables and resolving issues
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM database systems; working knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Open communicator that is comfortable speaking and collaborating in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills representing a high degree of accuracy to draft correspondence and interact professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, and virtually.
  • Ability to take initiative in own work or areas needing support on the team. Ability to take direction from superiors and seek assistance when needed.
