In this critical role, you’ll ensure our medical staff and allied health professionals meet the highest standards of credentialing and compliance. What You’ll Do: Manage the initial credentialing and reappointment processes for medical staff and allied health professionals. Collaborate closely with the Director of Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission standards, NCQA guidelines, and other regulatory requirements. Track and process applications, conduct background checks, and maintain accurate credentialing records. Prepare and distribute committee agendas, meeting minutes, and official correspondence. Oversee Locum Tenens applications and ensure timely renewals or terminations. Provide support for Medical Staff meetings and maintain practitioner call schedules. Maintain continuing medical education credits and monitor proctoring requirements. Assist in managing physician lounge and office inventory. What You’ll Bring: Education: Associate’s degree or higher education required. Experience: 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in hospital credentialing highly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
