Position Summary
Trinity College in Hartford, CT invites applications for a Director of Social Science Research. This is a hybrid non-tenure track administrative faculty position. Teaching responsibilities will include one course in mixed methods research in the social sciences each semester and a third course each year in data analysis or applied data science in the candidate’s area of interest. Other duties include individual support for student and faculty research in the social sciences, including in the Center for Hartford Engagement and Research, support to faculty for classroom instruction in social science research methods, and collaborations with the library and information technology staff, the quantitative center, and the advising center.

Qualifications
Qualifications include: Ph.D. in social science field (sociology, psychology, economics, political science or related field); experience with quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research; experience teaching undergraduate classes. Experience with community engaged research is not required but preferred.
