DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure that all materials are used in a safe, damage-free, and efficient manner.

· Monitor vehicle and equipment performance and request maintenance and repairs when necessary.

· Check all steps in the installation and finish process for efficiency and quality.

· Be available to complete any task on the job site, as needed.

· Clock in and out according to company policy.

· Ensure each field apprentice employee is clocking in & each employee reporting to their assigned position.

· Adhere to all established safety standards and procedures to protect employees and the Company.

· Conduct weekly safety meetings

· Ensure that each job assigned is completed with an accident-free record. Generates high quality work in alliance with the vision and mission of Powerfull Electric.

· Works to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the construction schedule for a given project.

· Organizes and coordinates all of the project materials and equipment.

· Reads and interprets specifications, contract documents, plans, and prepares sketched of proposed work as well as producing layout drawings and code calculations for projects.

· Analyzes and quickly resolves any work problems and may arise and ensures that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.

· Leads by example—sets, monitors, and enforces the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work set forth by Powerfull Electric.

· Conducts quality control inspections on project sites.

· Coordinates with all other trades working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions.

· Seek out opportunities to improve methods, processes, and procedures to benefit the company.

· Generates high quality work in alliance with the vision and mission of Powerfull Electric.

· Works to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the construction schedule for a given project.

· Submit work or activity reports according to Company policy.

· Notify Project Manager or Chief Operations Officer immediately of safety issues, schedule changes, absenteeism, or other problems as they arise.

· Check delivered (or loaded) material and supplies for quantity and type before accepting it use on a job.

· Maintain good, business-like relations with other trades, suppliers, and clients.

· Adhere to and enforce Company policies with regard to ethics, conduct, and appearance.

· Complete all Employee Performance Evaluations for positions reporting to this position in accordance within company policy and in an accurate and timely manner.

· Perform all other tasks assigned by the President or, in the President’s absence, by the Chief Operations Officer, or Project Manager.

· When applicable, train new employees.

· Has a clear understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.

 

 

Qualifications:

· Demonstrates understanding and enthusiastic agreement with the vision and mission

of Powerfull Electric.

· Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a journeyman in the installation,

maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using

blueprints, schematics and sketches.

· Experience using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy

equipment.

· Experience inspecting installation sites.

· Experience studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to

determine materials requirements and installations procedures.

· Experience reading contract drawings.

· Experience installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and

components.

· Experience installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic

wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with

electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.

· Ability to perform interlock wiring as required.

· Experience testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring,

equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.

· Ability to appropriately diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and

components using test equipments and hand tools to locate to cause of breakdown and

take appropriate steps to correct the problem.

· Ability to instruct and train workers to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring,

equipment, and fixtures.

· Has a clear understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.

· Pass a background check, including drug test.
