Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Surface Preparation : Clean, grind, repair, and prime concrete or other surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
  • Mixing Materials : Accurately measure and mix epoxy, polyurethane, and other coating materials following manufacturer specifications.
  • Application of Coatings : Apply base coats, topcoats, and sealers using various techniques, including rolling, brushing, or spraying, to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Detail Work : Handle edges, corners, control joints, and expansion joints to ensure complete and even coverage.
  • Safety Compliance : Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines throughout installation.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Operate and maintain equipment, such as grinders, sanders, and floor scrubbers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Quality Control : Inspect the work at different stages of the application process to ensure quality and address any deficiencies or issues immediately.
  • Job Site Cleanup : Maintain a clean and organized job site, handling waste materials properly and ensuring no residual debris or hazards are left behind.
  • Customer Communication : Communicate with customers about the process, timelines, and care of newly coated surfaces.
  • Team Collaboration : Work effectively with team members to complete projects on time and to the company's quality standards.
