About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Leadership and Institutional Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive leadership development philosophy and curriculum for faculty and staff. This includes assessing the institution's needs, working with campus stakeholders to design and deliver leadership programs, and ensuring that the offerings align with the overall leadership framework. The role also involves managing subordinate staff, developing relationships with community leaders and national experts, and assisting in institutional development plans. The Executive Director will be a key figure in fostering a vibrant, student-centered, and research-driven university culture. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field, with a preference for an advanced degree, and at least 8 years' experience in leadership development, talent management, or a related area. Certification in coaching and leadership assessment is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in organizational development, be adept at working in team-based environments, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong abilities in problem-solving, project management, and a thorough knowledge of leadership development concepts are essential. Experience in a higher education environment and a background in a supervisory role are also desirable. The Executive Director will be expected to uphold the core values of the university, which include integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect.
