Job Title : Finance Manager

Full-Time – Salary: $75,000-$100,000

Onsite – Medford, MA or Walpole, NH

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience within the Retail or Manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Finance software
• Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Experience handling 10M-30M in revenue

Plus:

• MBA or CPA
• NetSuite ERP preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience

Job Description

Position Overview: Conduct high-level business and financial analysis to support critical management decisions. Implement strategic initiatives and perform daily Finance and Accounting tasks. Supervise staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of expenses, journal entries, and monthly close. CPG and Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, interpret, and review financial information.
• Manage monthly closing process and reduce closing time.
• Prepare and present monthly financial package.
• Complete sales, expense, and variance analysis.
• Present financial statements to management, including P&L and balance sheet.
• Predict future financial trends.
• Oversee Finance department operations, setting goals and objectives for staff.
• Collaborate with C.P.A. firm to monitor company finances.
• Oversee journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
• Apply cost accounting to set standard costs for products.
• Handle Inventory, A/P, A/R, and Payroll transactions.
• Compile and report key business metrics monthly.
• Prepare ROI for major capital investments.
• Lead annual budgeting and capital planning process.
• Develop and implement product costing processes.
• Develop strategies to minimize financial risk.
• Create policies and procedures for the accounting department.
