Job Description Aerotek is looking for Warehouse Workers/Material handlers in the Meriden/Southington area for an immediate job opportunity. This company fabricates and distributes various metal products, and candidates will be responsible for preparing these items for shipment. Current openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift. Looking for individuals with previous warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have forklift experience and good computer skills.
Skills - Operate forklift, side loader, and overhead crane
- Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Construct crates, skids, and boxes using powered hand tools
- Prepare orders for shipment using scales and strapping equipment
- Open to cross-training and taking on any task necessary
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.54 - $27.87/hr.
