Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

You will work in various departments around the mill, including stacking lumber, feeding vertical edgers, stacking slabs of wood, and working in the pallet mill on the automatic stacker. Once acclimated to the position, you will be OSHA trained in forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Stack lumber
• Feed vertical edgers
• Stack slabs of wood
• Work in the pallet mill on the automatic stacker
• Undergo OSHA training for forklift operation

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience
• Ability to stand on your feet for 10 hours a day
• 2 references related to manufacturing or general labor

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of forklift experience (preferred)
• 6+ months of farmhand experience (preferred)

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced mill setting that is loud and dusty. You will be part of a team of about 10 employees. Steel-toed boots and jeans are required at all times. Please be aware that you may get a few slivers while working.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Preston, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
