Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Duties:
• Perform the application and recording of chemical applications on the Club grounds in
compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Supervise the safe use and maintenance of the golf course mechanical equipment by golf course
crew
• Supervise and control all expenses associated with Golf Course Operations.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Maintains the golf course at the highest quality possible at all times with an emphasis on positive communication with members and guests.
Requirements:
Experience with Bent/Poa greens, Bentgrass tees and fairways and Toro irrigation system.
Self-starter, “hands-on” professional in the Mid-Atlantic climate.
Possess or be able to obtain a NJ Pesticide Applicator’s License.
“Can do” attitude is a must.
Minimum 2-year College Agronomy Degree or Certificate.
4 Years preferred.
Minimum of at least 3+ years as an assistant golf course superintendent.
3 – 5 years in Golf Course Maintenance industry.
Compensation:
$80,000 – $90,000 per year.
