REPORTS TO: VP of Communications

Live Action seeks a Campus Outreach Director (COD) to help develop and build a campus outreach program to equip students and inspire impactful campus activism. The COD will use their expertise and knowledge to create a new program leveraging existing Live Action resources. He or she is entrepreneurial and well-equipped to not only recruit, resource, and lead chapter leaders. 

The Campus Outreach Director must be passionately committed to Live Action’s mission and inspired to do the best work of her/his life. This position offers potential for growth and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, growing, and highly productive team. It is located in Orange County, CA.

The Campus Outreach Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produce a comprehensive strategy to leverage Live Action resources to equip and inspire activism on college campuses through chapter groups
• Identify, recruit, and equip campus leaders to form new Live Action Campus Chapters
• Develop and distribute a comprehensive campus outreach program and facilitate rapid adoption by campus leaders
• Spend time in person on campus meeting with campus leaders and equipping them with training and resources
• Maintain relationships and regular contact with campus leaders, students, and other groups on campus
• Establish a clear reporting structure to keep the organization and leadership abreast of significant events, opportunities, and completion of goals
• Work with existing departments and teams to develop additional resources for campus chapters
• Recruit attendees on college campuses for Live Action events
• Approve or deny requests from applicants to establish Live Action Campus Chapters

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience establishing and mobilizing grassroots activism
• Management experience
• Frequent travel to college campuses (2-3x per month)
• Experience developing a detailed budget and operating within it
• A knowledge and understanding of pro-life messaging and apologetics
