Job Description

Alternative asset management firm is seeking a Human Capital Associate to support their HR Business Partner team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in human resources, preferably within financial services or a fast-paced corporate environment. Strong analytical skills, excellent judgment, and a high level of discretion are essential.

Salary: $100K-120K

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Tues–Thurs)

Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm+

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior HR leaders to support daily execution of key HR processes including engagement, performance management, training, and employee relations
  • Prepare data-driven insights and reports to help guide business decisions
  • Build and maintain presentations and materials for internal meetings, such as talent reviews and departmental updates
  • Serve as a key user of HR systems (e.g., Workday) and support database management
  • Assist in managing the performance management and year-end compensation processes
  • Coordinate with cross-functional HR teams (e.g., talent acquisition and learning & development) to ensure consistency in the employee experience
  • Provide hands-on support for onboarding, offboarding, and policy rollouts
  • Contribute to strategic projects by bringing a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical approach

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in financial services, management consulting, or a similar corporate setting
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and automate reporting
  • Experience developing clear, data-supported presentations for leadership audiences
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a high-performance, team-oriented culture
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems; Workday experience a plus
