*** Full Time, In-Home BCBA Supervisor ***
PURPOSE: The BCBA Supervisor will provide services in direct as well as supervisory capacities for individuals in need of medically necessary treatment. The BCBA Supervisor will provide ongoing coaching for treatment program implementation to parents/caregivers, BA Trainees, and RBTs/direct support staff. The BCBA Supervisor will be part of a collaborative team consisting of parents and/or caregivers and clinical team members. The BCBA Supervisor will provide direct support to members and/or their families, in various settings in compliance with all regulations and policies related to Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and other regulatory agencies. The BCBA Supervisor reports to the BCBA Clinical Program Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ State of AZ Prevention and Support Training
▪ State of AZ Article 9 Training
▪ ABA Ethical Guidelines, Clinical Handbook and Policy Orientation
▪ A License to practice Psychology or Behavior Analysis in the state of Arizona
▪ Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
▪ 1+ year experience in direct and supervisory ABA program implementation
▪ AzAHP -Initial and Annual Core Training Plan
▪ 8-hour supervision training
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
▪ Assist ISP teams and family members in managing challenging behaviors through a thorough
understanding of the purpose and function of a behavior.
▪ Develop positive behavioral supports derived from behavioral assessment
▪ Conduct a functional analysis of a challenging behavior.
▪ Develop with the ISP team and family members a positive behavioral supports plan (Treatment
Program).
▪ Model the implementation of the plan for family members and/or direct service staff, including
the teaching of alternative or replacement behavior.
▪ Train family members and/or direct service staff in the plan and monitor their usage of the plan
▪ Review and graph data related to treatment program goal progress, weekly.
▪ Review data with the ISP team members and other interested parties as to the success of the
plan.
▪ Provide follow-up consultation to ensure proper implementation of the designated teaching
strategies; revise the plan as needed.
▪ Supervise RBT/direct support staff, BA trainee, and parent implementation of the Treatment
Program to ensure treatment integrity and fidelity, as applicable.
▪ Collaborate with RBT/direct support staff, Service Providers, Medical Doctors and Parents to
ensure coordination of services and implementation of treatment plan.
▪ Services must be provided one-on-one in the home or community based on goals.
▪ Maintain a consistent schedule with family; demonstrating reliability and predictability.
▪ Engage in parent training
▪ Complete timely reports including: Concurrent Reports and/or Quarterly Reports, Discharge
Reports, Extension Requests etc.
▪ Complete session notes upon completion of session with client.
▪ Complete timecards with accuracy, if required
▪ Conduct Risk/Benefit assessments, as necessary.
▪ Complete Live Clinical Reviews/Medical Necessity Reviews with funding source(s)
▪ Salary employees meet or exceed the minimum of 15 billable hours/week and maintain 80%
patient authorization utilization.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
▪ Ability to physically assist members as needed including lifting/transferring up to 50 lbs.
▪ Ability to walk, kneel, stand and bend in order to assist members with activities of daily living
▪ Patience; Ability to exercise restraint and self-control in potentially high stress, challenging
situations
▪ Ability to quickly respond to health, safety and emergency situations
▪ Ability to effectively execute all positions highlighted in Prevention and Support Training

• May require the use of vehicle.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
▪ All services rendered within the member's home and/or community
▪ This job may require remote tele-work, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate
workplace at a corporate location. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and
the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if
appropriate
