Job Description

LHH is assisting in a search for an in house counsel role located in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is mostly remote and focuses heavily on drafting and reviewing contracts.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing frontline legal advisement and support to business management teams on a broad array of issues involving HR, Labor & Employment and contract compliance.
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Corporate generalist support related to employment policies and procedures.
• Some corporate transactional duties as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of corporate experience, preferably with an in-house legal team.
• A solid understanding of corporate business law.
• The ability to resolve problems quickly and objectively using sound business judgment.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, flexible environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Membership in state bar association.
• Must be interested in enjoying your work, loving your job, and having some fun!
