We are is seeking a full-time Information Security Analyst, Junior to support DoD customer. This position is to provide support in the Washington D.C. area. Responsibilities: Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements. Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure; and respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports. Provides functional subject matter expertise in areas such as PKI, Network Security, Information Assurance, Systems Administration, Programming, and Data Center Operations. Assume responsibility for contributing to work plan development, reaching engagement milestones Conducts analysis of appropriate consulting tools to satisfy program requirements, and creates project deliverables Perform analyses and makes diagnoses, as well as defines symptoms and problems, and develops conclusions Provides senior-level analytical and program support, and is focused on providing high performance work Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent; High School Diploma or GED Certificate with three (3) years experience year experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field. IAT II (Security+ CE, SSCP or equivalent) certification required Computing environment training, in accordance with DoD 8570.01 Qualifications Requirements: Must meet specific certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M, DoDD 8570.1 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Assurance Experience and Skills : Excellent oral and written skills. Excellent critical thinking skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
