The Lumen Internship

Lumen offers a fully immersive, 10-week summer internship program. Our interns demonstrate curiosity, innovation, and a passion for advancing technology. We believe that empowering our people and helping them reach their full potential is essential for the long-term success of both Lumen and our customers.

Program dates: May 30 – August 8, 2025.

This position is fully remote/ work from home.

The Main Responsibilities

Lumen’s Customer Experience team is looking for an Experience Analyst Intern. The main responsibilities revolve around the below main pillars: 

  1. Customer Experience : This includes customer advocacy, engagement, and ensuring a seamless total customer experience through journey mapping and Omni-channel communication strategies. The team also manages lifecycle management for products to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  2. Partner Experience : This involves establishing a voice of partner listening program, partner journey mapping, and improving tools and processes for the partner ecosystem. It also includes partner executive engagement motions. 
  3. Employee Experience : Focused on AGT employees, this pillar includes enhancing seller productivity, automating customer success processes, and improving partner processing tools. 
  4. Insights and Innovation : This covers customer listening through surveys and voice of customer initiatives, as well as developing a customer data platform and customer journey orchestration analytics. 

What We Look For in a Candidate

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

  • Required qualifications
    • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
    • Graduating August 2025 – May 2027
    • Preferred fields include bur not limited to: Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Behavior, Data Science, or related programs
    • Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)
  • Proficiency and understanding of:
    • Microsoft Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft tools and platforms
    • Power Platform: Familiarity with Microsoft's Power Platform
    • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP): Understanding of Adobe's AEP
  • Preferred qualifications
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and derive insights
    • Customer Obsession: A strong focus on customer needs and experiences
    • Culture Fit: Alignment with the company's culture and values
    • Confidence and Bold Thinking: Willingness to share ideas and provide input

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

 

Hourly Based Pay Range:
Min: $22.00/hour
Max: $35.00/hour

Work Authorization

US work authorization is required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.

What to Expect Next

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
