We are a cleaning company that has a cleaning job at Milwaukee, Wisconsin s eeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Airline Janitorial Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of airport terminal facilities, including restrooms, waiting areas, corridors, and other public spaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards to provide a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and airport staff.

Hours of Service : 2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm, 5 days a week, Per Diem.

Positions will rotate on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established cleaning procedures and schedules.
  • Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in terminal areas to remove dirt, debris, and spills.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, and seating areas, to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings to maintain a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Monitor and replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed, notifying supervisors of any shortages or maintenance issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
  • Follow airport security procedures and regulations while working in secure areas of the terminal.
  • Collaborate with other cleaning staff and airport personnel to coordinate cleaning activities and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in janitorial work.
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a Commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and security screenings required for employment at the airport.

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must Be Able To Lift 20+ pounds Regularly Every Day, Bend, Stretch, Climb Stairs, Climb A Ladder, Reach, Twist, Sit, Walk and squat. Must Be Comfortable Working On Feet For Entire Shift.
