Idaho Milk Transport is looking for Class-A CDL Drivers to perform farm pickups (milk loading) and delac loading and unloading between plants and local dairies. No prior tanker experience required; we are willing to train you for the job. Terminal is based in Burley, ID

Minimum Hiring Guidelines:

* 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 5 years; Preferred

* Clean driving record; Preferred

* No major violations within the last 5 years (DUI, DWI, reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, felonies, license suspension)

* Must have a valid Class A CDL along with a tankers and doubles/triples endorsement

* Must possess a valid DOT medical certificate issued by a certified medical examiner

* Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

* Applicant must provide a full and complete employment background for the previous 5 years

* Applicant must successfully pass a road test in equipment similar to which will be operated

* Applicant must have knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

* Applicant must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends; we are a 24/7, 365 day a year operation

Responsibilities:

* Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from dairy farms and processing plants.

* Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

* Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving on ELD unit

* Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process

* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

* Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

* Collect and verify delivery instructions

* Report defects, accidents, or violations
