LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Emergency Medicine PA in Springfield, Massachusetts, 01101!Pay Information$90 to $110 per hourAbout The PositionWe are seeking an experienced, board-certified Physician Assistant to join a well-established emergency medicine team. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with advanced provider autonomy and strong physician support. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients across a wide range of acuity levels in the emergency department, including a fast-track area.   Responsibilities: Provide care for patients in the emergency department, including a fast-track unit. Work autonomously with physician supervision readily available on-site. Perform procedures and manage cases independently within the PA scope of practice. Participate in the response to in-hospital emergency codes, focusing on airway management as part of the response team. Communicate with EMS, transfer centers, and consultants as needed for patient care and coordination. Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation.   Department Highlights: 24/7 access to radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray), laboratory, OR, and anesthesia. Certified blood bank on-site.
