Job Summary: The Business Alignment Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business objectives. Primary responsibilities include leading a dynamic team of IT Business Systems Analysts and driving the delivery of innovative solutions for LION. This strategic leader collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Business leadership and technical experts, to ensure seamless alignment of technology initiatives with organizational goals. The primary focus is on optimizing agile service delivery, defining operational priorities, and driving strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions: - Manage and provide direction for the Business Alignment team in support of business operations and projects.
- Manage staffing, including recruitment, scheduling, development, and performance management.
- Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts.
- Provide business architecture consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to LION IT and LION Business stakeholders.
- Management of Agile/Scrum backlogs and act as Agile Coach for the team.
- Develop and review budgets and ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives.
- Act as a product owner for key IT-owned solutions, driving and authorizing day-to-day decisions and ensuring that project outcomes meet the goals/strategy of the business.
- Contribute to business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and associated training.
- Ensure the creation, maintenance, and accessibility of key IT documentation.
- Act as a coach and mentor to inspire team members to give their best effort. Lead by example.
Education and Experience Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of experience managing and/or directing in an IT operation.
- Minimum of three years of business analysis experience
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM, prefer CSM and/or CSPO certification(s).

- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Manage ambiguity in a productive and positive manner through collaboration and consensus
- Lead meetings and follow through on meeting commitments and action items
