Tri State Staffing is looking for an ambitions and creative Marketing and Public Relations (PR) Assistant. This is an entry level media and public relations position responsible for providing administrative support to the Leadership Team by performing various activities and tasks to help promote our business, values and mission to internal and external audiences.

 

Marketing and PR Assistant Duties

· Provide assistance in organizing and/or execution of different events.

· Work with Marketing Department in drafting and designing different types of PR content. (Newsletters, fliers, business cards, etc.)

· Distributing marketing material to internal and external audiences.

· Managing and representing the company at events (job fairs, company events, trainings, local and non- local marketing events.)

· Develop regular, engaging, and informative social media postings to help reach the desired demographic. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

· Review analytics to determine success and recommend improvements for future campaigns.

· Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner.

· Edit and proofread marketing materials.

· Work with leadership team to improve communication efficiencies within the company.

· Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.

· Enhance recruitment initiatives with potential clients and potential employees.

· Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of activities.

· Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with clients, media and vendors.

 

Job Requirements

· Experience in marketing, public relations, or a similar field.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Good problem solving skills.

· Strong project management skills

· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software

· Good organizational and time-management skills.

· Willingness to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and methods.

· Must have strong presentation skills.

· Experience with social media platforms.
