Job Description
️ MATERIAL HANDLER – 1ST SHIFT
Location: Little Canada, MN
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $20.75/hour to start
Background Check: NOT required
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate overhead hoist cranes, magnet cranes, and forklifts
Read and interpret work orders and load documents
Load and unload trucks according to customer specifications
Use AS400 system to scan tags and complete load documentation
Verify product quantity and quality
Stack and place materials in proper storage areas
Load/unload production tables and assist with general shop duties
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes)
Perform additional tasks like sweeping, grinding, cleaning, and sanitizing
Skills & Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs (heavier with help or equipment)
Comfortable with standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift
Team player with good communication and a strong work ethic
Knowledge of general shop safety practices
Previous experience with crane/forklift operation preferred but not required
