Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Performance Tester with expertise in Apache JMeter to join our Quality Assurance team. As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for assessing the scalability, performance, and stability of web applications and systems under various load conditions. You will design and execute performance tests using JMeter, identify performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Execute Performance Tests: Create, configure, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter to simulate various load conditions (e.g., stress, load, endurance) on applications.
• Test Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans, identify performance testing requirements, and define metrics to evaluate system performance.
• Analyze Results: Analyze performance test results, identify performance issues or bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to development teams.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance during test execution and ensure accurate data collection for metrics such as response time, throughput, resource utilization, and server load.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, architects, and product managers to understand application architecture and provide feedback to optimize performance.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Investigate and troubleshoot performance issues, helping to pinpoint the root cause of problems. Collaborate with engineering teams to fine-tune and optimize application performance.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed performance test reports, summarizing findings, issues, and recommendations for improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging tools in performance testing. Continuously improve performance testing processes and frameworks.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in performance testing with strong proficiency in Apache JMeter.
• Proficient in JMeter for creating performance scripts, executing tests, and analyzing results.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization for web applications, databases, and servers.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools (AWS, Azure, etc.) for performance testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into the build process.
• Tools & Technologies:
• Performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with databases, web servers, and application servers.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, and web protocols (
• Experience with Scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript, Python) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to communicate performance-related issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with good collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with load testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certification in performance testing (e.g., JMeter Certification).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
