Principal Clinician Recruiter - Remote in NY, NJ, PA, CT New

The Principal Clinician Recruiter provides full lifecycle recruiting support for Physician, Physician Leadership, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and senior-level positions. This role involves collaboration with Optum Leadership and People Team leaders on job scoping, pipeline strategy, and market alignment to support business and patient needs. The recruiter develops strong relationships with leaders and acts as a trusted talent acquisition partner.

Our Principal Clinician Recruiters are Talent Advisors leading the end-to-end recruitment process, responsible for sourcing, candidate assessment, developing talent pipelines, and managing offers and hiring.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for Clinical and leadership roles
  • Ensure excellent candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the process
  • Oversee onboarding processes in collaboration with hiring teams
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership and People Teams on talent planning
  • Contribute to business strategy related to clinical talent
  • Advise on compensation and market variables for clinical roles
  • Influence leadership to adopt innovative ideas and approaches

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years recruiting Advanced Practice Clinicians, Physicians, Clinical, or Leadership roles
  • Knowledge of employment law related to hiring (OFCCP, EEO, AAP, Conflict of interest, Non-Competes)
  • Advanced talent sourcing skills (internet mining, networking, cold calling)
  • Intermediate experience with CRM and applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to work remotely in NY, NJ, PA, or CT

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in a business role, preferably in leadership, with proven results
  • Experience in executive or senior clinical leadership searches
  • Experience working with healthcare clinicians and leadership
  • Knowledge of clinician compensation plans

The salary range is $89,800 to $176,700 annually, based on full-time employment, with factors like location, education, experience, and certifications considered. UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
