Principal Product Designer – Chicago - Hybrid (Primarily Remote, onsite on as needed basis) Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr This range is provided by Elios Talent. Key Responsibilities: Define and execute a cohesive design strategy for the SaaS platform, ensuring uniformity across applications . Lead and mentor a team of product, UI, and UX designers in a globally distributed environment. Develop and maintain design systems to streamline workflows and create a consistent user experience . Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align design with business goals. Conduct user research and usability testing , iterating based on insights to enhance product usability. Advocate for best design practices , staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations. Qualifications: Required: 7+ years of product design experience , including 3+ years in leadership roles . Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work for complex applications . Expertise in Figma and design system development . Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to create scalable, visually compelling designs. Strong communication skills to advocate for design concepts to stakeholders. Preferred: Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field . Familiarity with HTML/CSS and frontend development workflows. Background in AI-driven and data analytics applications .
