Responsibilities •Meet with clients to understand their needs and concerns through direct interaction.
•Analyze legal conflicts, offer advice on potential solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.
•Work with clients to develop effective strategies for asset distribution.
•Represent clients in court hearings when necessary to safeguard their interests.
•Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to navigate civil litigation procedures efficiently.
•Assist clients by assessing their situations, formulating strategies, and determining the optimal course of action.
•Resolve cases effectively by maintaining clear communication with senior attorneys and paralegals.
•Provide expert legal services by preparing wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents.
•Manage cases in accordance with our established case flow procedures.
Qualifications •Must have a law degree from a U.S. ABA-accredited law school.
•Should hold an active Texas law license with a clean record, free from any state bar investigations.
•Requires a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years specializing in estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
•Proficiency in basic technology is essential, with experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, and PracticePanther is advantageous.
•Strong writing skills are required, with a preference for experience in drafting legal articles.
•A "solutions-oriented" mindset is essential, with the ability to maintain a positive outlook in challenging situations.
•Must be passionate about helping others and adept at problem-solving.
•Demonstrated enthusiasm for practicing law and a commitment to continuous skill development.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
