Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving our production processes and ensuring that our high standards are maintained. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensuring that production schedules are met.
2. Utilizing hand tools and other equipment to ensure the quality and precision of our products.
3. Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure that all products meet our stringent standards.
4. Using kaizen principles to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
5. Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of production staff to ensure that they are able to deliver their best work.
6. Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
7. Identifying and resolving any issues that may impact production efficiency or product quality.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Production Supervisor, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
2. Demonstrated experience with hand tools and other manufacturing equipment.
3. Proven expertise in quality control and a solid understanding of kaizen principles.
4. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
6. A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of relevant regulations.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
