Job Description
Our reputable property management client is looking for a Property Administrator on a direct hire basis. As the Property Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 5 properties located throughout West Los Angeles. You will mainly work from home but will be required to travel to each property when needed. Your main job duties will include handling tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally, coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to schedule and supervise property repairs and maintenance tasks, collect rent payments, issue notices for late payments, and follow up on outstanding balances as necessary. You will also be responsible for maintaining records and expenses through Yardi, assisting with lease agreements, resolving tenant disputes, and conducting tenant screenings including background checks and reference checks.
Previous experience in property management or a related field is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, property owners, and vendors is required for this position. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is also required! Hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and the ability to work flexible hours (including some weekends) is needed. Salary range is $55-65k.
• Some experience in Property Management, with a demonstrated history of successfully managing multiple properties simultaneously.
• Excellent Resident Relations skills, with a focus on maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction and swiftly resolving any issues or concerns.
• Ability to efficiently handle Answering Inbound Calls, responding to queries and concerns in a detail oriented and timely manner.
