Syntelligent is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance (QA) / Tester to support a team of software developers and engineers in building a full-stack web application on AWS. The role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of the application through rigorous testing processes and collaboration with the development team. Location: Washington, DC Schedule: Day/ M-F Anticipated Salary Range: $102,000-$112,000 Responsibilities Duties will include: Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution. Review application requirements and technical documentation to identify test cases and test data needs. Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to understand the cause and resolution of defects. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and stakeholders on software usability and functionality. Mentor and oversee junior test analysts to ensure the growth of next-generation technical resources. Participate in test team meetings, discuss progress, and troubleshoot issues. Support developers and clients on testing-related inquiries. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Years Experience: 4-8 Years relevant experience Minimum education requirements: Bachelor's Degree Test Planning Requirements Analysis Test Design Test Case Execution Defect Logging and Analysis Test Automation Agile Methodologies Quality Assurance Processes and Strategies Skills: End-to-End Processes Functional Testing Non Functional Testing QA Tester Quality Assurance Automation Tester Technical Support Raw Data Technical Support Clearance: TS/SCI Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications. Familiarity with performance testing tools like jMeter and LoadRunner. Knowledge of database monitoring and software development concepts. Proficiency in using test management tools like Jira. ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
