Job Description

The Project Manager will report to the VP of Development. Development projects include, but are not limited to, new buildings, in-line renovations and stand-alone renovations. This individual plays a key role in the planning and execution of real estate development projects beginning with the overlapping efforts of the Real Estate and Development teams on Pre-development feasibility analysis through project execution, closeout and transition to Asset and Property Management.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects which include the project scope, schedule, and budget once the contractual relationship begins with a client. Development projects contain two major phases, preconstruction, and construction.

  • Responsible for the following project deliverables:
  • Resources Planning (Project)
  • Client Communication
  • Project Closeout
  • Zoning and Entitlements
  • Desktop Research
  • Budget Creation
  • Proforma and Budget Creation Approval
  • Overall Project Leadership
  • Project Schedule Creation
  • Project Accounting
  • Construction Management

The Project Manager will focus on developing financially and operationally viable projects. Once completed, transition the project to the client, readied for sale, or placed within the portfolio of properties. This individual must have the ability to plan as well as provide-day-to-day management for execution of assigned projects.

This person will coordinate the efforts of internal teams and internal/external service providers for assigned projects. This individual will ensure that projects are fully detailed. Understand and mitigate all contingencies and risks. Ensure project execution and client satisfaction. This role will be required to manage various type of scopes of services offerings to our client. Including but not limited to build to suite and fee for service.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience in the same or similar role
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Advanced skills with technology including Microsoft Office, and Drop Box
  • Comfortable collaborating with others and being proactive as it regards to the work and communications with others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with multiple interruptions.
  • Ability to read and understand site plans.
  • College degree preferred. Appropriate level of Experience/education.
