Job Description

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will support Plastipak hiring needs by reviewing applicants, conducting phone interviews, coordinating on-site interviews, and performing various other Talent Acquisition duties. You will develop and leverage your skills as a Recruiter to attract qualified candidates and hire talented associates to the Plastipak Jackson Center and Lima manufacturing sites.

You Will:

• Review and screen applicants for various manufacturing site roles (Production Technicians, Forklift Operators, etc.)
• Coordinate the interview and selection process, as well as successfully secure offers and clear new hires to start.
• Leverage a variety of tools to proactively attract candidates, including social media and community channels.
• Respond to candidate inquires and clearly communicate with all candidates in a prompt and respectful manner.
• Represent Plastipak in the community, participating in events to promote Plastipak as an employer of choice.
• Use Workday to facilitate the recruiting process and maintain accurate and compliant records.
• Collaborate with the HR team to evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes.

You Have:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Proven interpersonal skills; through previous recruiting, customer service, call center, or other relevant experience
• Desire to learn and develop recruitment skills in a high-volume, manufacturing setting
• Ability to learn various recruitment tools and technology, including applicant tracking system (Workday), communication platforms, and social media tools
