Our federal client is looking to hire six Requirements Writers, onsite at their headquarters in Washington, DC. Please send your resume in WORD format should you be interested in exploring these roles. The positions are on a contract to hire basis and will pay an hourly rate of $43/HR to $75/HR 1099. We also offer the option of $89K to $130K W2, dependent on level of experience, with full benefits and PTO.

Pay Rate: (W2) $43/HR to $75/HR 1099 or $89K to $130K W2.

Term: Contract to Hire

***Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days***

List of tasks to be performed

• Analyze systems, applications, and the customers business needs to develop requirements.
• Knowledge ATS applications and all sub systems and micro systems associated to these applications.
• Experience in customer interaction roles.
• Database Expertise and Skills.
• Experience with Agile Frameworks and creation of Epics, Features and User Stories.
• Understanding of testing / QA skills is recommended.
• Understanding of XML, Jason, Micros Services, API design, and databases is a must have.
• Give a daily status of their progress
• Write technical design approach documents
• Provide information for technical specification updates
• Meeting minutes after all calls
• Gather technical requirements to write detailed user stories for application developers
• Scheduling calls with mail.dat, mail.xml, shipping services file, etc.
• Completion of assigned tasks
• Mailer Calls to include but not limited to PEEC, MTAC, MSDG, WG, US, and Mailer CAT calls.
• Troubleshoot mailers issues as well as help mailers integrate and test their software updates.
• Script review and Customer Acceptance Testing Support
• Identify risks or technical issues with associated recommendations and proposed contingency.
• Weekly status updates for stakeholders and VPs
• Telework is available but not guaranteed
• Required understanding of AWS and cloud storage as it applies to this role

Required Experience Level:

• Minimum of 5-7 years experience, in technology or software development preferred.
• 5 or more years of professional experience related to business analysis, system solutioning, creating technical requirements.
• Must have skills in creating specifications documents and guides.

Educational Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited College/University in CS, IT, Other Science related field.
• NOTE: Four (4) years additional relevant experience required in lieu of a degree
