Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a PE with remediation experience. The right candidate will be considered as director of our Engineering group.

Must have a current PE license in either PA, NJ, or NY with ability to obtain license in all three of these states.

Our client is a regional firm with offices in the Philadelphia area (Royersford, PA and Cherry Hill NJ). We currently maintain a staff of 35 professionals.

Their backlog is strong with a wide range of projects and a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage environmental remediation projects, including site assessments, remediation design, and implementation, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Prepare and review technical reports, remediation plans, and environmental compliance documentation.
• Conduct site investigations, including sampling, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data.
• Develop and recommend innovative solutions for the remediation of contaminated sites (soil, groundwater, air, etc.), utilizing techniques such as bioremediation, excavation, soil vapor extraction, etc.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and support for technical and professional development.
• Manage and communicate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and other parties involved in remediation projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including permitting, reporting, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of environmental impact assessments, remedial action plans, and other regulatory filings.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Must have a current PE license in either PA, NJ, or NY with ability to obtain license in all three of these states
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering, with at least 3 years focused on remediation projects.
