Job Description

Position: Senior Project Accountant

Comp: $90K - $115k + 10% Bonus

Location : Irvine, CA (Onsite)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee financial transactions for capital projects.
Review requisitions for proper capitalization per GAAP and company policy.
Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate capitalization and timely depreciation.
Prepare and present budget vs. actual analysis to project stakeholders.
Work with project managers to resolve budget discrepancies.
Track capital projects, ensuring accurate cost accumulation and timely depreciation.
Provide quarterly project status updates.
Ensure compliance with internal controls over project accounting.
Support external audits by providing required documentation.
Identify and assist in implementing process improvements.

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience of full cycle accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP
Strong computer skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications
