The role you’ll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

The Surgical Technologist III is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse according to the accepted clinical standards of care.

\n \n\n \n

The value you’ll bring to the team:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Assists the Operating room staff in preparing the O.R. suite for surgery by assisting in instruments and equipment preparation. Checks all specialty cases in advance.
\n \n
• Assures case carts are accurately pulled with supplies/instrumentation and edits procedures cards as needed for any corrections
\n \n
• Scrubs in OR as needed on PRN basis by Sets up sterile instruments and supplies and assists the surgeon with instruments, sutures and supplies during surgery.
\n \n
• Assists in providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients.
\n \n
• Assist OR charge to trouble shoot equipment in OR’s as requested
\n \n\n \n\n

Qualifications

\n \n

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Graduate of accredited school of surgical technicians
\n \n
• At least three (3) years scrub experience in multi-specialty setting
\n \n
• First Assistant skill a plus
\n \n
• Successful Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program
\n \n
• CST with at least three years of experience
\n \n
• Service Line Coordinator
\n \n
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Certified First Assistant (CFA)
\n \n
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
\n \n\n \n\n
