Job Title: Specialist, Systems Engineering Job Code: 19307 Job Location: Greenville, TX (On-Site) Job Schedule: 1st Shift 9/80 Job Description: The Systems Engineering Specialist will be responsible for performing rigorous testing and analysis on software applications. Duties will include developing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models using the System Modeling Language (SysML) with emphasis on system decomposition, functions, interfaces, and performance to describe and analyze complex systems and software. This role demands strong technical expertise with the ability to promote, mature, and grow the application and use of MBSE for assigned design teams, program, and enterprise. The individual must be able to adapt to constantly changing priorities and assignments. Also, the Systems Engineer must be flexible enough to take on other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: Familiarity with verification processes to include requirements development, functions development, validation and verification for conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design. Utilize MBSE to realize/describe/analyze complex systems in SysML. Coordinate and execute design reviews to include SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, for a data distribution system and components. Support development of requirements and specifications for subsystems, components, parts, and assemblies. Developing models using Dassault Systems Cameo Systems Modeler conforming to SysML or UML. Able to lift up to 30lbs. Writing test reports. Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Knowledge of data links (e.g. Link16, CMF). Intermidiate skill level with MS Office products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint). Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Proficient with ARDB. Knowledge of DOORS. Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. Able to travel up to 20%. (Domestic/International) Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with four (4) years of prior Systems Engineering experience. OR Graduate Degree with two (2) years of prior Systems Engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of eight (8) years of prior Systems Engineering experience. Minimum 2 years of experience developing models using Dassault Systemes Cameo Systems Modeler (or similar) conforming to SysML or UML. Active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI. Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Additional Skills: Cybersecurity Certification such as Sec+, CASP+, CySA or CISSP. Active Top Secret with SCI. #LI-AH1
