Job Description

Glo Skin Beauty’s Warehouse Associates facilitate customer order delivery for our award-winning skincare and beauty products. This job description details the role of a full-time Picking position. This role involves handling outbound shipments by packing customer orders accurately and preparing them for shipping.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick customer orders: receive pick tickets and locate items within the warehouse; accurately pick the number and type of products according to pick ticket; use a cart to push/carry products throughout the warehouse.

• Prepare orders for verification: Sort picked items in a cart for easy verification of order; ensure the cart is not loaded beyond 50 lbs.

Essential duties of the Warehouse Picking Associate:

• Frequently required to:

  • Use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

  • Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Long periods of standing and walking

  • Lift and/or move objects 10-20 pounds

• Occasionally required to:

  • Sit and climb or balance.

• Ability to:

  • Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.

  • Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure

• Great 8 hour schedule ranging from 7 am - 5 pm, with occasional availability for potential overtime hours

Other duties:

• Complete tasks that ensure warehouse cleanliness, orderliness, and safety (e.g. sweeping, picking up loose items, ensuring clear walkways)

• Assist where needed with other warehouse tasks or help colleagues (e.g. packing, returns, kitting, internal projects, etc.)

• Ability to function independently with a high degree of accuracy and proactivity

• Commitment to safety

• Attention to detail, ability to read documents in English

• Ability to interact with colleagues and cooperate to complete tasks

Compensation: $18.30 hourly rate, non-exempt role eligible for overtime
