Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description Join our team as a Lab Technician where you will be responsible for performing sensory, physical, and chemical tests on finished products to ensure they meet established specifications. You will evaluate Bill of Material for completeness, record test data in the LIMS system, and report nonconformance with immediate corrective actions. Your role includes inspecting manufacturing and storage equipment, participating in external and internal testing programs, and supporting raw material testing and documentation. Additionally, you will inspect finished product packaging and ensure proper labeling and configurations before final approval.
Hard Skills - Bachelor's degree in Science (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field)
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Wet Chemistry
- Proficient in using LIMS system
- Experience with various testing techniques such as UV-Vis, HPLC, and Micro testing
Soft Skills - Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow GMPs and GLPs
Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Environment This position is primarily second shift, Monday-Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with initial training on the first shift for approximately two months. The role involves exposure to chemicals and requires handling materials up to 50 lbs. Tasks vary, minimizing visual or mental fatigue. The environment includes exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and food allergens.
